In loving memory of Michael Rising, father of Austin "Bad Moon" Rising, Urban Axes Baltimore is proud to host this charity Year-a-thon event benefitting the AIM at Melanoma Foundation. We hope you'll participate as a thrower or donate virtually if you are unable to physically attend. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated directly to the foundation. In 2026 alone, nearly 250,000 people will be diagnosed with Melanoma. This event, and others like it, will help raise much needed funds and awareness for research to cure this disease and save millions of lives. Tickets go on sale 10/10/26 at 6PM EST.

What You Need To Know Before Booking
The Year-a-thon has limited spots. If you missed the cutoff for sign-ups, reserve your spot on the waitlist. Open spots will be given in order of signup. We are looking to open up more spots depending on interest and availability. When reserving your waitlist spot, please list in the notes if you are looking to do the whole Year-a-thon or if not what individual season/seasons you want.
You do not need to pay the full amount now. A Deposit is required to reserve your spot (34% of your booking). Paying in full will Lock in your spot, however only the deposit is required to reserve your spot. Full payment must be made by November 18th or your reservation will cancel and the spot will open up to the next person waiting. This is allows people on the waitlist time to plan and prepare if they need to travel, take off work, etc.
For the Doubles league portion- If your doubles partner is not also signed up for the full Year-a-thon, you will be the designated Doubles captain and we will invoice your partner separately for their portion. They do no need to sign-up, your Year-a-thon purchase signs up the team. If you are both signed up fo the Year-a-thon you are all set. This will free up another space for a Doubles team that is not in the Year-a-thon
Get Ready To Throw!
We understand that not everyone can commit to a full weekend of throwing, so we are offering limited single season spots. Each Season costs $110, however if booking multiple Seasons there is a discount. For every additional season booked you will get $10 off the prior seasons cost (i.e. first season is $110, second would be $100, third season would be $90, and fourth season would be $80).
In order to get the discount you must follow these steps! Select all leagues you want to participate and then select the Grab My Discount item. Select Apply Promo or Voucher (located at the bottom) and type the following discount code that corresponds to the amount of leagues you have. It must match the number of leagues you have or it will not be valid.
Purchasing 2 leagues use 10OFF2 for $10 off your second league
Purchasing 3 leagues use 30OFF3 for $10 off your second league and $20 off your third league
Purchasing 4 leagues use 60OFF4 for $10 off your second league, $20 off your third league, and $30 off your fourth league
Maximize Your Contribution! If you would like to maximize your donation to the cause you can opt to not use your discount code. Any unused discounts will be converted into direct donations our donation total for AIM at Melanoma.
For the Doubles league portion- if your Doubles partner is already signed up for the Year-a-thon, do not sign up through here. Their Year-a-thon purchase signs up the team and we will invoice you separately. If neitheryou or your doubles partner is signed up for the Year-a-thon, only one of you need to sign-up to reserve the teams spot. We will invoice the other doubles partner separately to pay their portion. This ensures we are not double booking available spots.
